Series 1 includes the first 250 cards of the 2023-24 Upper Deck base set. This set is the largest and most extensive collection of hockey cards released each year. It features 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns® cards (the most anticipated rookie cards of the season!) and three check cards.

As stated above, we have expanded our lineup of parallel versions. Here are the new additions:

The returning popular parallel versions Exclusives (limited to 100 pieces), High Gloss (limited to 10 pieces) and Clear Cut (Hobby-exclusive) complement the impressive offering, providing many sought-after cards to collectors. Are you ready to hunt for Young Guns® 1-of-1 cards?!

Fans and collectors will be amazed by the UD Portraits cards! The latest version of this classic insert showcases star veterans and rookies in an unprecedented presentation. No two portraits are the same. Collect an average of at least one (1) UD Portraits card per box and look for parallel versions Silver Frame (limited to 99 pieces) and Red Frame (limited to 25 pieces), as well as print plates.

The long-popular UD Canvas® series returns and features a selection of today's best stars and top Young Guns® rookies. Series 1 includes the first 120 cards of this subseries. Collect an average of four (4) cards per box and focus on the Hobby-exclusive Black & White parallel version and print plates of all 120 cards.

New insert sets! The latest edition of Series 1 offers an impressive array of new insert sets that will delight everyone, from casual fans to avid collectors:

200’ x 85’: Each card in this set features a player (a star veteran or elite rookie) against a hockey rink background – both the player and the ice surface are enhanced with Lite FX technology. Collect an average of two (2) cards per box and look for parallel versions Gold, Red (limited to 99 pieces) and Black (limited to 1-of-1)!

Special Edition: Each card showcases a current star or top rookie in an elegant design. In addition to the regular cards, look for rare parallel versions Red and Gold (limited to 50 pieces).

Star Surge: This set features rising stars. In addition to the regular cards, collect rare parallel versions Red Die-Cut and Gold Die-Cut (limited to 25 pieces).

Star Zone: A set composed of many star veterans of today. Look for parallel versions Red and Gold (limited to 50 pieces).

Stat Box Fillers: The checklist features current stars who regularly fill statistical tables. Look for rare parallel versions Gold and print plates.

Teacher’s Pet: Each card in this fun set features a player’s “report card” highlighting the skill for which the player is most known. In addition to the regular set and print plates, there is also a rare set of parallel cards Gold.

The insert set Population Count returns after a successful debut in the 2022-23 season, but this time with a novelty. This season, each card will be printed on acetate! This unique 30-card set, which mimics the appearance of graduated cards and features top stars and rookies, offers seven different denominations (1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 1). Everyone will be hunting for the low-denomination versions!

Popular inserts Honor Roll® and Dazzlers are back. Both are intra-series sets and their checklists for Series 1 feature only star veterans (look for rookies in Series 2!). Look for parallel versions of Honor Roll® in Silver (limited to 250 pieces) and Gold (limited to 25 pieces), print plates and both versions of the Dazzlers insert: Blue and Pink! Each box will average one (1) Blue Dazzlers card.
