Ashigara and his loyal dog have a unique dynamic on the battlefield where the player must ensure that Ashigara and Hachiko effectively form a tandem. Neither of them is very strong on their own. Each of them has fewer lives and weaker cards than other fighters. Together, however, they create a very strong synergy of spears and truncheons, against which it is very difficult to defend.

Hachiko has only a two-sided behavioral card in place of Kamae and a small deck of ability cards, which he cannot exhaust. While Ashigara plays like an ordinary fighter with a 40-card pack of Kamae Tree.

The assassin is able to deal damage like no one else, but he is also very vulnerable. Thanks to the unique system of gaining focus on the Kamae Tree and the special ability to gain focus on the basic card, the assassin specializes in the fastest possible attack followed by a retreat to safety.
